El Jefe trained in Tulum at Tulum DJ Academy and Sound Lab Tulum — environments known for developing globally recognized club and festival DJs and producers — and has since spent time immersed in both the Tulum scene and U.S. markets including Washington, DC and the Tampa Bay area.
